This was a
search begun in 2008 for the ancestors of
Fred Lashwood GRANT (10 Sep 1882 - 7 Dec 1942) and
Alice (GILLINGS) GRANT (27 Jan 1882 - 21 Jul 1963) -
my paternal grandfather and
The objective was to develop two
lineages for each of these two people back to 1800 in England.
Relevant family surnames are GRANT, GILLINGS, LASHWOOD and
The most information
that has been found is for the paternal line (GRANT) of Fred.
While lesser information has been found for the paternal line
(GILLINGS) for Alice. Information for the maternal lines
(LASHWOOD and KITELEY) is sparse.
